Cootamundra is located in the south-west slopes region of New South Wales and is rated as the second safest town in New South Wales, with a population of less than 7,000 people. With a rich history and mix of architecture and museums, Cootamundra is known for its excellent coffee and local produce as well as laid back, rural lifestyle.

The town’s beautiful fresh air and an outdoor, action-packed community make it the perfect location for a short trip away or home for the family or retirement. Cootamundra is on the main Sydney to Melbourne railway line with regular daily services to both cities. It is four hours easy driving from Sydney, two hours from Canberra and one hour from Wagga Wagga.
